situated on the north side of Leopolino Road between Highway 19 and the Old Māmalahoa <br />Highway, Kamae‛e, North Hilo, Hawai‛i, TMK: 3-1-001: portion of 015. <br /> <br />The Commission took this item up at 9:17 a.m. with 3 people from the public in attendance. <br /> <br />(SEE EXHIBIT B) <br /> <br />This item ended at 9:38 a.m. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br /> – The Commission took this item up at 9:38 a.m. <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes of the July 2, 2015 meeting – It was moved by Commissioner Moses and <br />seconded by Commissioner Ikeda that the minutes of July 2, 2015, be approved as circulated. <br />Motion was unanimously carried by a voice vote of all Commissioners in attendance. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS/ANNOUNCEMENTS - <br />The Commission took up the <br />following at 9:38 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />1.Status of applications heard by Windward Planning Commission that are pending before <br />County Council. <br /> <br />There was no report regarding the status of applications previously heard by the <br />Commission that are currently pending before the County Council. <br /> <br />rd <br />Mr. Arai reminded the Commission that their September 3 meeting will include <br />contested case proceedings for Arrow of Oregon \[SPP 09-076\] and David and Laura <br />Rodrigues \[SPP 15-178\]. He stated that staff was currently working with the parties <br />regarding the scheduling of witness and exhibits lists, and thanked the Commissioners <br />who committed to participating in the contested case proceedings. <br /> <br />rd <br />Mr. Arai said that there may be several other items on the September 3 agenda, and also <br />informed the Commission that the appropriate arrangements have been made should the <br />th <br />contested case proceedings extend to the next day, September 4. <br /> <br />Chairman Miyasato confirmed with Mr. Arai that the Commissioners who were unable to <br />participate in the contested case proceedings may attend and participate in the regular <br />portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Upon Commissioner Henkel’s inquiry about the status of the geothermal asset fund claim <br />regarding a public health study, Mr. Arai stated that he had provided Mr. \[Thomas\] <br />Travis with some information detailing certain issues regarding the proposal and that he <br />will be scheduling a meeting with Mr. Travis in one to two weeks. <br /> <br /> <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />Windward Planning Commission <br />August 6, 2015 Minutes <br /> <br /> <br />
