Hawaii Police Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />September 11, 2015 <br />Page 2 <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />The commission will meet in executive session to consult with Corporation Counsel on <br />questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, <br />immunities, and liabilities; to consider discipline and charges against officers or <br />employees of the Hawai'i Police Department; and to consider sensitive matters relating <br />to public safety pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawai'i County Charter <br />Section 13-20 (b). <br />INVESTIGATION AND DELIBERATION OF COMPLAINT <br />• Complaint HPC 15-17: Complainant complained about how officers handled the <br />situation between him and his landlord and the resulting police reports. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-18: Complainant complained about the procedures following his <br />arrest. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-19: Complainant alleged racism and unprofessionalism on the <br />part of responding officers. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-20: Complainant alleged that an officer drove recklessly during <br />her traffic stop. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-23: Complainant alleged that officers used excessive force and <br />falsely detained her. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-24: Complainant complained about procedures and paperwork <br />following his arrest. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-25: Complainant complained that an officer told him he was not <br />arrested and to go home. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-27: Complainant complained about officers coming onto their <br />property to investigate stolen property. <br />• Complaint HPC 15-28: Complainant complained about how officers treated her <br />husband and about the responses they received regarding the incident. <br />STATUS REPORT OF REFERRED AND INTERNAL COMPLAINTS <br />(OPEN SESSION) <br />
