❖ Kaiholena Lot F <br />➢ Ala Kaha Kai Trail Association is finishing up paperwork to close the purchase. <br />■ The state attorney general is reviewing the document to process the final sale of lot F <br />❖ Kohala Shoreline, LLC <br />➢ DEA is complete and planning will send it to OEQC for June 23rd edition <br />❖ Kohala Kai <br />➢ Ala Kahakai NHT, NPS will resume negotiations with landowners after closing the <br />purchase of Kaiholena. <br />➢ We need an update from the county planning department if a final subdivision document <br />has been issued. <br />❖ Kohala Waterfront <br />➢ The certified shoreline is posted on the OEQC report. <br />■ Talks between the state and landowners agree that 3 areas need to be moved inland. <br />o These talks are on 2 lots and 1 pending survey. <br />■ The county will not be issuing any building permits until the trail issue is resolved <br />o Ala Kaha Kai, Kailapa, & other community members will work with Kohala <br />Waterfront officials to resolve this issue. <br />❖ Access Group Interfacing with the Action Committee and the County <br />➢ NSTR - Pau - Off <br />■ We already a letter to the Planning Director <br />❖ New Items <br />➢ OQEC. <br />■ There is a SMA -minor permit for a snack stand in Pololu by the old mule station by <br />Kohala Preserve. <br />o This may be a done deal <br />➢ Arron Low is the State Trails Specialist. <br />•'• Next meeting <br />• ➢ August 5, 2015; 4:30pm at Old Courthouse <br />Page 12 <br />
