❖ Kohala Waterfront <br />➢ A group of community members did a walk thru today (9/2/2015) with the landowners <br />association, county planning department, and NPS Ala Kaha Kai personnel. <br />■ The trail is not being maintained & is eroding. <br />o The county said not to touch the trail until the issues of two lots are resolved. <br />These lots have deep gullies that the trail cannot traverse without entering another <br />lot or building a bridge. <br />■ The county planning department will do a draft of the trail requirements and will take <br />public comments after the draft. <br />o There were concerns on burial sites. <br />❖ Access Group Interfacing with the Action Committee and the County <br />➢ NSTR - Pau - Off <br />■ We already; sent a letter to the Planning Director <br />❖ New Items <br />➢ NSTR <br />❖ Next meeting <br />➢ October 7, 2015; 4:30pm at Old Courthouse <br />Page 1 2 <br />
