There needs to be a change of policy and a change of focus. <br />194 <br />Plan review. Greg Ogin asked Bobby Command how they might go about that. <br />201 <br />202 <br />Bobby explained that there are a number of drafts, and he proposed that <br />203 <br />Terry Dunlap put together a draft and distribute it to the Action Committee. <br />204 <br />next time for follow up. <br />205 <br />Discussion continued, and Terry Dunlap explained that although this will <br />206 <br />start at overview level, eventually this will get to a very detailed level. <br />207 <br />information before the next agenda and will let them know if they have <br />208 <br />Karen Eoff spoke and explained that she has been attending meetings and <br />209 <br />reviewing applications for rezonings. She said that she has seen the influence, <br />210 <br />balance, and structural things that are starting to happen with this General <br />211 <br />Plan review. She explained that it's been very enthusiastic to read some of <br />212 <br />the remarks from the Planning Director and the staff that refers to the CDPs <br />213 <br />and the General Plan. <br />214 <br />215 <br />Doug Payne suggested a motion be made to ask the Planning Director to <br />216 <br />provide an overview of the perceived conflicts or constraints in the Kona <br />217 <br />Community Development Plan on Chapter 4. <br />218 <br />219 <br />Discussion continued, and it was clarified that the Planning Department <br />220 <br />would work on this overview, and that this would be put on the agenda for <br />221 <br />next time for follow up. <br />222 <br />223 <br />Terry explained that he would provide the Action Committee with <br />224 <br />information before the next agenda and will let them know if they have <br />225 <br />anything.
