The <br />meeting was chaired by Laura Tobosa. <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: <br /> Pauline Aughe, Janice Mancini, Sam Nagasawa, and Laura <br />Tobosa. <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> Gena Avilla and James Souza. <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT AND GUESTS: <br /> Dr. Kimo Alameda, Aging;Teri Spinola-Campbell, <br />HR; Alisa Mitchener, P&R; J Yoshimoto, Corporation Counsel; Jesse Floyd, Program <br />Specialist for the State DD Council; Sandy Arriola and Luana Ancheta-Kauwe, Aging; <br />Karin Riedel, Paul Pascua and Jessie MacDonald, Kauila Haumea and Gail Yoshishige; <br />J. Ching, Richard Dinges. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Laura Tobosa <br /> called the meeting to order at 10:05 a.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF THE AUGUST 19, 2015, MEETING <br /> <br />L. Tobosa P. Aughe <br />called for motion to approve the minutes for August 19, 2015. <br />J. Mancini <br />made a motion to approve the minutes. It was seconded by . All were in <br />Motion passed <br />favor. . <br /> <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC (Agenda Items) <br /> <br />No statements from the public. <br /> <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />Report on the Recreation Ad Hoc Committee <br />. <br /> <br />S. Nagasawa <br /> stated that the purpose of the ad hoc committee was to gather input from <br />the community and to provide information and recommendations to the Mayor’s <br />Committee on People with Disabilities and best practices for increasing recreation <br />services and programming. <br /> <br /> <br />
