Known as the <br />“Wheelchair Driver” in her <br />earlier years of employment, <br />Linda was colorful, creative <br />and full of life. In the last 13 <br />years, Linda worked in the <br />Puna District overseeing the Puna operations for <br />Coordinated Services for the Elderly. We wish <br />her well as she journeys through the next chapter <br />of her life. <br /> <br />MAHALO AND GOOD LUCK DARRYL <br />South Kohala CSPA Darryl <br />Noda retired on December <br />31, 2015. He began his career <br />with the County 21 years ago <br />as a Community Service <br />Worker III in the Kona district. <br />Throughout the years Darryl <br />served his clients with a <br />cheerful attitude and a big <br />smile as he made sure their <br />needs were met. Seniors living in the East <br />Hawai‘i area are encouraged to call our CSE <br />South Hilo office at 961-8777 to schedule an <br />appointment or contact your nearest CSE <br />district offices to assist you in your community. <br />Appointments go like hotcakes, so call early!!! <br /> <br />MEDICARE PRESENTATIONS <br />The public is invited to 6 “FREE” monthly informational <br />presentations by the Senior Medicare Patrol <br />(SMP Hawai‘i), in partnership with Regency at <br />Hualalai, Kona. Objectives of these presentations <br />is to learn how to: Protect - yourself and your <br />loved ones from Medical ID theft, fraud and <br />scams. Also, understand the basics of Medicare <br />and Advantage Plans. Detect - by reading your <br />medical statements like you would a bank or credit <br />card statement for errors and suspicious billing. <br />Report - any questionable charges, possible <br />scams, fraud, or abuse.
