Free cholesterol & <br />glucose screenings, flu shots, <br />“Pedestrian safety tips & Be <br />seen at night” fashion show <br />by Walk Wise Hawai‘i, and 2 <br />kooky chefs from ERS <br />demonstrating a delicious way <br />to eat spaghetti squash was <br />just the tip of what happened <br />during the program. Grand <br />Prize winner of 2 nights stay <br />at the Sheraton Kona Resort <br />was Hanako Yugawa from <br />Pepe‘ekeō Senior Club <br />pictured below). <br /> <br />BIG ISLAND SPORTS <br />HALL OF FAME <br />INDUCTEE <br />ELSON MORI <br />A big “MAHALO” and <br />congratulations to Elson <br />Mori who was inducted <br />into the Big Island Sports <br />Hall of Fame on November <br />15, 2015. Along with <br />his many contributions <br />and endless support provided to various local softball <br />organizations, Elson and his ohana has volunteered <br />for over 20 years assisting the EAD Division as <br />official scorekeepers for the Hawai‘i Kupuna and <br />State Senior Softball League tournaments. <br />Congratulations Elson on a well-deserved honor, <br />and you are truly appreciated by all! <br /> <br />Kupuna News 5 January-March 2016
