West Hawai‘i CSE Volunteer <br />Recognition Luncheon <br /> <br />To thank our wonderful volunteers who <br />have donated countless hours to assist <br />CSE with helping our Kupuna, this year’s <br />West Hawai‘i CSE Volunteer Recognition <br />Luncheon theme is, “You Raise Us Up.” The <br />luncheon will be held at the West Hawai‘i <br />Civic Center on May 12, 2016. <br /> <br /> <br />Senior Companion Program <br />Recognition Luncheon <br /> <br />This year’s Senior Companion Recognition <br />Luncheon will be held mid May. The Big Island <br />has a total of ten senior companions around the <br />island [2 in Hilo, 2 in Puna, 1 in Honoka‘a, 1 in <br />Waimea, and 4 in Kona (3 of which are new <br />companions)]. The senior companions assist <br />other seniors who are more fragile, while <br />receiving a stipend of $2.65 per hour.
