Start by telling us your name <br />and the area in which you reside. <br />EWING: I live in Pahoa just outside of the Village on Pohoiki Road, and my name is David <br />Ewing, and so I'm the owner of the property. <br />HEAUKULANL Good morning. Thank you for being here. Please proceed, sir. Let us know <br />what's going on. <br />EWING: Oh, so, yeah the current coffee shop is in a little complex with three or four other <br />businesses that share the same parking lot, and so, we constantly have parking issues. We don't <br />have a bathroom for our patrons and our actual space that we lease is very small. So, those three <br />issues inhibit our growth, and my wife and I purchased this property almost two years ago and <br />now have been developing this plan to relieve us of those issues. <br />HEAUKULANL Understood. Have you received the Planning Director's Background Report <br />and Recommendations? <br />EWING: Yes. <br />HEAUKULANL And, you have any questions on any of the recommendations? <br />EWING: No, I do not. <br />HEAUKULANL All right.
