REPORT FROM COUNTY OF HAWAII RECREATION SPECIALIST, ALISA <br />MITCHENER <br />Alisa Mitchener read the announcement (See attachment) <br />P. Punihaole wanted to know if the information on Summer fun programs will be down <br />at the civic center for West Hawaii. <br />A. Mitchener said that Summer fun is still in the planning process and that registration <br />hasn't been announced yet. They will have flyers at the different locations. <br />P. Aughe asked if it would be possible to bring a link to where these are posted at next <br />time? <br />J. Floyd asked if it could be posted in the community events section in the newspaper? <br />A.Mitchener mentioned that it would go through Jason Armstrong who is the Public <br />Information Officer for Parks and Recreation. <br />Karin Riedel asked if it would be possible to make a separate webpage for P&R events, <br />flyers and other information. She felt that the county's website is very hard to navigate <br />through. <br />A Mitchener said that she will follow up with report on creating an access page <br />P. Aughe asked if the P&R website page access friendly. <br />A Mitchener replied that IT is reviewing all of the departments within the County for <br />accessible web presentations. <br />T. Spinola-Campbell said the contact person from IT would be the director, Don <br />Jacobs. <br />A Mitchener said that she will touch base with their P&R web person and Jason <br />Armstrong and the link. <br />R. Dinges requested to put somewhere in the Agenda, statements from the public on <br />non -agenda items? <br />L. Tobosa said that she will check with J Yoshimoto on that. <br />P. Aughe made a motion to ask J Yoshimoto if statements from the public for non - <br />agenda items can be placed on the agenda. <br />R.
