TAX BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Complaint Hearing <br />Wednesday, November 18, 2015 <br />West Hawaii Civic Center <br />Department of Liquor Control Conference Room <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Donald David called the meeting to order at 2:23 p.m. <br />Present were: Board Members Donald David, Wesley Takai, Reiko Ford, Melvin Ventura <br />and Richard Dinges; Deputy Corporation Counsel Renee Schoen; Real Property Tax <br />Administrator Stanley Sitko, and Real Property Appeals Board Clerk Elizabeth `Nina' Swain. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />There were no statements from the public. <br />COMPLAINT HEARING <br />County informed the Board that there were no complaints filed and received by the Real <br />Property Tax Division on behalf of the Board. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />No discussion held on old business. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />No discussion held on new business. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Mrs. Ford was recognized by Mr. Sitko for her service to the Board for the past two (2) years <br />and presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the County of Hawaii. Mrs. Ford's term <br />ends on December 31, 2015. Mr. David thanked Mrs. Ford for her service and commended <br />her for expertise as a Board Member as she had previously completed a five (5) year term on <br />the Board before agreeing to fill the two-year vacancy. The remaining Members also <br />thanked Mrs. Ford for her service and shared their positive remarks and experiences as it <br />was a pleasure to work with her. <br />
