TAX BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MEETING MINUTES <br />Appeal Hearings <br />Wednesday, November 28, 2012 <br />Aupuni Center Conference Room <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Albert Kualii called the meeting to order at 9:25 a.m. <br />Present were: Board Members Albert Kualii, Wesley Takai and Scott Church; Deputy <br />Corporation Counsel Craig Masuda; and Board Secretary Nina Swain. <br />Absent were: Board Member Michael D'Amico; Real Property Tax Administrator Stanley <br />Sitko and Appraisal Supervisor Jon Pike. <br />Note: Real Property Tax staff was attending a mandatory appraisal training class. <br />STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC <br />There were no statements from the public. <br />APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES <br />Board Members were provided with copies of the November 13 and 14 meeting minutes. No <br />corrections were noted. <br />Mr. Takai moved to accept the minutes of the November 13 hearings. Seconded by Mr. <br />Church. A call for discussion was made. Motion passed by a vote of 3:0. <br />COMPLAINT HEARING <br />No members from the public were present to testify. <br />No complaints were received by the Real Property Tax Division on behalf of the Board. <br />Complaint hearing closed at 9:30 a.m. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />No discussion held on old business. <br />
