Appeal on building value. <br />Appellant presented his case. County presented their case and recommended sustaining the <br />building value. A call for questions was made. <br />Mrs. Ford moved to reduce the building value to $464,000. Motion died due to lack of <br />a second. <br />Mr. Takai moved to sustain the County's assessment of $648,900. Seconded by Mr. <br />Church. A call for discussion was made. Motion passed by a vote of 3:1 with Mrs. <br />Ford voting against the motion and Mr. D'Amico recused. <br />CASE #17687 — BESSER, DANIEL & SUMIKO <br />TM K 1-5-056-007-0000 <br />Present was appellant Daniel Besser. Mr. McCall presented for the County. <br />Property located in the Hawaiian Paradise Park subdivision on 1St Street. <br />Appeal on land and building values. <br />Appellant presented his case. County presented their case and recommended sustaining the <br />land value at $278,500 and reducing the building value to $351,400 for a total of $629,900. <br />A call for questions was made. <br />Mr. Takai moved to accept the County's recommended building value of $351,400 and <br />sustain the land at $278,500. Seconded by Mr. Church. A call for discussion was <br />made. Motion passed by a vote of 5:0. <br />CASE #18036 — MALLICK, MONIKA <br />TMK 2-7-020-006-0000 <br />Appellant was not present. Present for the County was appraiser Marilyn Veincent. <br />Property located on Kuikahi Street in the Honolii Pali subdivision. <br />Appeal on land and building values. <br />County presented their case together with any and all information provided by the appellant. <br />County recommended reducing the land value to $324,500 and building value to $265,500 <br />for a total of $590,000. A call for questions was made. <br />Mr. Takai moved to accept the County's recommended reduction in value with land to <br />$324,500 and building to $265,500 for a total of $590,000. Seconded by Mrs. Ford. A <br />call for discussion was made. Motion passed by a vote of 5:0. <br />2 <br />
