Recessed: 10:35 a.m. <br />Reconvened: 1:00 p.m. <br />Mrs. Ford was not present upon reconvening with the afternoon case hearings. <br />CASE #17666 & 17663 — HSC INC <br />TMK 2-2-053-002-0000 <br />Appellant was not present. Mr. McCall presented for the County. <br />Property located on Kilauea Avenue, formerly the Hilo Motors Chevrolet dealership. <br />Appeal on land and building values. <br />County presented their case together with any and all information provided by the appellant. <br />County recommended the following: <br />Case No. 17663, reducing the land value to $830,400 and building value to $15,900 for a <br />total of $846,300; and <br />Case No. 17666, reducing the building value to $776,300 and land value to $974,600 for a <br />total of $1,750,900. <br />A call for questions was made. <br />Mr. Church moved to support the recommendation of the County for Case No. 17663 <br />with a land value of $830,400 and building value of $15,900 for a total of $846,300 and <br />for Case No. 17666 with a land value of $974,600 and building value of $776,300 for a <br />total of $1,750,900. Seconded by Mr. Takai. A call for discussion was made. Motion <br />passed by a vote of 4:0. <br />CASE #18031 — 142 KINOOLE LLC <br />TMK 2-3-013-017-0000 <br />Case No. 18031 was rescheduled by the Board from the July 12, 2011 appeal hearings in <br />Hilo. Questions were presented by the Board at said hearing and requested that the County <br />provide the information at the rescheduled hearing. <br />Appellant was not present. Mr. McCall present for the County. <br />Property located on Kinoole Street, the site of the former Hilo Hotel. <br />The Board presented to Mr. McCall questions pertaining to the values in the settlement <br />agreement reached between the County and the appellant, more particularly the reduction in <br />the building value. County provided the information as requested. <br />5 <br />
