Komata <br />Deputy Director <br />Kahalu`u Beach Park Closing <br />May 18-19 for Tree -Trimming Work <br />The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation announces it will <br />close Kahalu`u Beach Park from Wednesday, May 18, to Thursday, <br />May 19, to perform tree -trimming work. <br />The temporary closure is necessary so County crews may trim trees and <br />remove the debris without creating safety hazards for park patrons. <br />Kahalu`u Beach Park will reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday, May 20. <br />The Department of Parks and Recreation apologizes for any inconvenience <br />caused by the temporary closure and thanks park patrons and the general <br />public for their understanding while it works to maintain Kahalu`u Beach <br />Park. <br />For more information, please contact Jason Armstrong, Public Information <br />Officer, at 961-8311 or jarmstrong©hawaiicounty.gov. <br />-30- <br />County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
