Komata <br />Deputy Director <br />Public Invited to Honomu Community <br />Association Meeting Thursday, May 26 <br />The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation and County <br />Councilwoman Valerie Poindexter invite the public to a Honomu <br />Community Association meeting that will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, May <br />26, at the Honomu Gymnasium. <br />Councilwoman Poindexter will be joined by Springer Kaye of the Big Island <br />Invasive Species Committee, along with the area's community policing <br />officer, Jayme Carvalho, Hamakua district supervisor for the Department of <br />Parks and Recreation, and Rod Cambra, Honomu gym director. <br />Topics of conversation will include recent improvements to the gym and <br />park, invasive species, and community concerns. <br />For more information, please contact Rod Cambra at 963-5302. <br />-30- <br />County of Hawaii is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
