Chiyoko Pai of Waikoloa shows off her <br />cheerful Happy Valentine's Day card as she <br />receives her Meals on Wheels. <br /> <br />These cards were hand made by <br />kindergarteners from the Kealakehe <br />Elementary School, a project coordinated <br />by teacher Candice Travelino. Mahalo! <br /> <br />Winona Watson of the Waimea Nutrition Site shows off her Valentine's balloon. <br /> <br />Everyone enjoyed ballroom dancing, with Harry Chong, and Vitamin C bingo, with <br />special prizes. In addition, each person took home a goodie bag and a long stemmed <br />chocolate rose. What a party! <br /> <br />The Kona Nutrition Sites had a great time at their district celebration. Coming together at <br />the Imin Center in Hōlualoa were seniors from Hōlualoa, Kealakekua, and Kailua. <br /> <br />Recognized for being 90+ were, from left, Doris Araki, 95, from Kealakekua and <br />Mildred Oda, 90, from Kailua. In back are CSWs Beverly Carvalho and Helen Lindsey. <br />Also receiving roses were Natsuko Takemoto and Marion Harada, who are both 89, and <br />both from Hōlualoa. <br /> <br />Ornament decorating contest winners were, from left, Helen Geezil from Hōlualoa, <br />Stella Vasquez of Kealakekua, and Isabel Gomes, also of Kealakekua. <br /> <br />The Kona party ended with catered lunches from Sandy's, and ono desserts! <br /> <br />Kupuna News 14 Information and Assistance (808) 961-8777
