New Business <br />Election of New Secretary <br />S. Nagasawa nominates Richard Dinges for the new Secretary. <br />All was in favor. <br />New Members to the Committee <br />L. Tobosa explained that the Committee is only good until December. Once the new <br />Mayor steps in and decides to keep the Committee, everyone will need to reapply. <br />R. Dinges offered to draft a letter to the Mayor's office to ask if it would be possible to <br />continue the Committee on People with Disabilities. <br />P. Aughe said that the letter would need to be on the agenda and then be approved by <br />the Committee. Pauline also mentioned that everyone will need to reapply again. <br />Mayor's Recommendation Letter <br />R. binges made a motion to approve the Mayor's Recommendation for a certificate of <br />appreciation to Mr. Warren Lee, Director of Public Works. (see attachement) <br />P. Aughe seconds. <br />All in favor. <br />Alisa Mitchener asked if it could say, Mayor's Certificates of Appreciation on the <br />Agenda, that way we could also nominate people during that time as well. She also <br />mentioned that it would be best to put a deadline on the next series of nominations <br />because it takes a while to process and present. <br />Report on the Recreation Ad Hoc Committee. <br />S.
