" <br />Rationale: This minor revision is based on internal feedback. It provides clarity to the <br />organization of the policy but it does not substantively alter the intent. <br />Section 5: Strengthen Infrastructure, Facilities, and Services <br />5.13 Expand Parks & Recreation Facilities <br />9. Revise County Action Policy 100: Add "volleyball court" to list of facility assessments. <br />Rationale: This addition was suggested by the community and is in line with CDP recreation <br />objectives. <br />10. Revise County Action Policy 101: Add additional facility improvements including: Honoka'a — <br />lower and upper field concession roof; Honoka'a pool and roof; Pa'auilo — annex roof; <br />Papa'aloa — gym and annex roof; Papa'ikou — gym/ community center roof. Add language for <br />regular termite and other pest assessments and treatments at each Community Center and <br />Parks facility. <br />Rationale: These additions were identified by the community. <br />Chapter IV: Community Action Guide <br />NOTE: While the Community Actions are part of the Community Development Plan, the <br />Community Action Guide itself contains supplemental information that is not part of the <br />ordinance. The intent is to keep this document updated and 'dynamic' as circumstances and <br />organizations change. So far here are some revisions to the guide identified by the Community: <br />11. Revise Community Action Guide: <br />a. Community Action 15: <br />i. In the "Potential Next Steps" section: Add that public access -focused groups can <br />be formed to manage specific accesses, such as "Friends of Public <br />Access" in implementing this action. <br />ii. Add MAMA Mauka Makai Access as potential partners. <br />b. Community Actions 26-20: Add P6h5h5 i Ka Lani as potential partners (Waipi'o Valley). <br />c.
