3. Update from the Pahoa Regional Town Center Plan Subcommittee (PRTCPS) (Larry <br />Brown, Patti Pinto, Elmer Solis)(Mark Hinshaw): The purpose of the subcommittee is to work <br />towards developing a regional town center master plan for Pahoa. No subcommittee minutes <br />are available at this time, so members of the subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent <br />activities. <br />(10 min) <br />4. Update from the Volcano Long Range Plan Subcommittee (VLRPS) (Larry Brown) (Dan <br />Taylor): The VLRPS is tasked with preparing a Long Range Plan for Volcano. Members of the <br />subcommittee will inform the AC on their recent activities, which are reflected in two <br />communications: <br />- Communication No. 2016-21, August Subcommittee Meeting Minutes, which <br />include a discussion on distribution of the community survey and decisions to be made <br />to meet the October 1St distribution of surveys. <br />Communication No. 2016-22, Draft Survey, the VLRP subcommittee will present the <br />draft community survey. The AC may have discussion on the survey. (15 min) <br />5. Update from the Budget Subcommittee (Susan Osborne, Leila Kealoha, Frank Commendador, <br />Elmer Solis): The Budget Subcommittee is tasked to collect, prioritize, and prepare requests <br />from the AC to the County for funding necessary to support implementation of the PCDP. <br />Subcommittee minutes are not available at this time, so subcommittee members will inform the <br />AC on their recent activities. (10 min) <br />6. Annual Reporting, Action Planning, and Town Hall Meeting: The AC will have a <br />discussion on the annual reporting process, action planning, and further discussion on the <br />purpose and need for a Town Hall Meeting. (15 min) <br />7. General Plan Workshop Update: AC Members that attended the General Plan workshop will <br />provide the AC with an overview of the workshop. The AC may discuss the General Plan <br />update process in regards to the AC. <br />(15 min) <br />All Action Committee communications can be viewed and downloaded from the following website, <br />http://www.hawaiicountycdp.info/puna-cdp/implementation/puna-cdp-action-committee under <br />the respective year that it was received.
