Options 4a, b, and c: Designate the portions of parcels 2-9-002:079 and 2- <br />9-002:081 that are currently Industrial as a) LDU, b) Agriculture, or c) leave <br />blank with no CDP recommendation. <br />Note: In all Options, the Open Shoreline area along the coastline would be revised <br />to be consistent with the Open area as shown in the current General Plan (2005) <br />(but align the wavering boundary between the Open and LDU areas along the <br />private road on the southern part of the point). <br />c. Any additional land use policy map revisions based on new information <br />presented. <br />4. Next Steps <br />a. Schedule an additional meeting to consider revisions, if needed. <br />b. Schedule a meeting to make the final recommendation of a revised version of the <br />Hamakua CDP for approval. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT ON AGENDA ITEMS: Members of the public are invited to speak to any items <br />on the agenda. "Other <br />reasonable modification" refers to communication methods or devices for people with disabilities who are <br />mentally and/or physically challenged. <br />If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai'i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist. <br />(Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawai'i County Code). A lobbyist means, "any individual engaged for pay or <br />other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the <br />purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to <br />communicate with public officials." (Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a)(6), Hawai'i County Code).
