Peter Vana will call tomorrow morning regarding possible ideas for a transportation hub in the Banyan <br />Drive Redevelopment Area. Peter (contractor) stopped by to check on an electrical permit for a separate matter but he <br />also wanted to provide suggestions for the Banyan Drive Redevelopment Area. Peter mentioned that he liked the <br />concepts he's seen for the BDRA. However, Peter was concerned that transportation may be overlooked. Jeff mentioned <br />that there was a presentation last night but I don't think Peter knew about that so he may not be aware if transportation <br />concerns were addressed. <br />A couple of things that Peter mentioned at the counter today was. <br />• Maybe the orientation of the cruise ships would be b he cruise ships were perpendicular to the properties <br />fronting Banyan Drive (yellow arrow). This would easier access for cruise passengers, as well as allow for <br />the necessary safety buffer zone area around ruise ships.
