<br /> <br /> <br />SOUTH KOHALA <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br />ACTION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> <br />MINUTES OF MEETING <br />Held December 17, 2012 <br /> <br /> A regular meeting of the South Kohala Community Development Plan Action <br />Committee was held on December 17, 2012. The meeting was called to order at 5:05 p.m. <br />at the Lilly Yoshimatsu Senior Center (Waimea Senior Center), 67-1199 Mamalahoa <br />Highway Waimea, Hawaii, pursuant to notice. <br /> <br />The following members of the Committee were present when the meeting was <br />called to order: <br /> <br />Mike Fischer <br />John Hoover <br />Margaret Horwatt <br />Chris Roehrig <br />Jojo Tanimoto <br /> <br />Committee member Robin Inaba was not in attendance at the meeting. Also present were <br />Project Managers Terry Dunlap and Deanne Bugado from the Office of the Hawai’i <br />County Planning Department, County Council representative Margaret Wille and <br />members of the public. <br /> <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and noted that a quorum of the <br />Committee was present. <br /> <br />There were no comments on any items on the aganda from members of the public. <br /> <br /> The Committee considered approval of the revised minutes of the meetings held <br />on July 23, 2012, August 27, 2012, and October 22, 2012, copies of which had been <br />distributed to members of the Committee in advance of the meeting. Upon motion duly <br />made and seconded, the minutes of the said meetings were unanimously approved in the <br />form previously distributed to the members. <br /> <br /> The Committee members then were informed that Bill Moore had submitted <br />correspondence addressed to the Committee summarizing the testimony given by Mr. <br />Moore at a prior meeting concerning the application to the Planning Department relating <br />to the project commonly known as Puako 1010. Copies of the letter will be circulated to <br />all members of the Committee. <br /> <br /> The Committee then heard testimony from Mr. Moore as representative of the <br />applicant concerning the application submitted to the Planning Department in connection <br />with phase II of the Waiki’i Ranch development.
