2. Diane Kanealiʻi will discuss a motion to have the Chair Write 2 letter. The first to the Current Mayor to thank him and the second to the incoming Mayor to welcome him into office. 3. Jojo Tanimoto will lead a discussion with the Action Committee to modify the Action Committee Letterhead to include the names of the Committee Members. 4. Jojo Tanimoto will lead a discussion with the Action Committee to have staff list all the new CIP proposed projects going forward in the Resource Section on the South Kohala CDP section on the website as they are reviewed and approved for submission to the various County Departments for their review and action. 5. According to the Operating Guidelines of the South Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}.
