EXECUTIVE SESSION (Closed to the public.) The commission will meet in executive session to consider discipline and charges against officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department, to consider sensitive matters relating to public safety, to review the evaluation of an employee, and may consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities pursuant to HRS 92- 5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). • Discussion on Chief Harry Kubojiri's Annual Evaluation • Discussion on the Police Chief's Program of Work for 2017 Consideration and Investigation of Complaints ✓ HPC 16-34: Complainant complained of an officer's speeding during his transport. ✓ HPC 16-38: Complainant requested a reconsideration of the commission's decision that there was insufficient evidence to prove the allegations of misconduct. ✓ HPC 16-39: Complainant alleged that the officer wrote the wrong information on the police report, and that the other driver should have gotten another citation. ✓ HPC 16-41: Complainant alleged that officers used excessive force during his arrest. ✓ HPC 16-42: Complainant alleged that officers broker her screen door and took her children away from her. ✓ HPC 16-43: Complainant alleged that an officer was involved in the seizure of his wife's vehicle, and he wants it returned. • Correspondence16-07, request for representation by Corporation Counsel in CV 16-1-01359 for Officers Kimo Veincent and Bryson Miyose. • Status Report of Referred and Internal Complaints
