At no time has public input or documentation been submitted requesting all of TMK 3-5-004-003 be
categorized as "Open". Nor, is there any compelling or logical, legal reason to do so.
I have proposed a reasonable, responsible way to meet the objectives of the CDP and my property's usage:
Designating the 6.2 acre Mac Nut Orchard area as "Agriculture" and the Ocean Frontage areas as "Open".
This would be the same as similar near-by TMK's.
My proposal would reflect reality, meet planning needs and be consistent with other near-by similar TMK's
designations and usage.
There is no compelling reason to rush to approval of the CDP, with flawed content.
I request that the committee temporally delay the CDP's submission for enactment. I request that the
committee carefully review my submitted documentation and concur with the proposal to designate the 6.2
acre orchard portion of TMK 3-5-004-003 "Agriculture" and the Ocean Frontage 5+ acreage area "Open". This
would make the CDP and committee's action consistent, standardized and correct.
Respectfully,
James R. Weldon
2
