GOMES: Kelly Gomes from the Department of Public Works. <br />CLARKSON: So, does Public Works have any flood control projects in this area in the planning <br />stages? <br />GOMES: There is a plan to divert the majority of the water coming down from the golf course <br />which runs into this area, but it's unfunded. It's a very expensive project so it could happen but <br />it just needs to be funded and it's, like I said, it's very expensive so, I don't know if it will ever <br />happen. <br />CLARKSON: But, nothing's planned <br />GOMES: No. <br />CLARKSON: In that area. <br />GOMES: No. <br />CLARKSON: Okay, thank you. <br />HENKEL: And, if it were approved, there would, the impacts on the people living there would <br />certainly come under consideration, right? <br />GOMES: Yeah, it would erase all this flooding in this area because it would divert it from the <br />golf course to the 4 -mile creek. <br />HENKEL: Any more questions for Mr. Gomes? Okay, now, is there a motion on the table <br />already? Has it been seconded? <br />HO: Yes. <br />HENKEL: Okay. Then, the motion by Commissioner Clarkson [sic] and seconded by <br />Commissioner Ikeda. <br />HO: It was made by Miyasato. <br />HENKEL: Oh, I'm sorry. Motion by Commissioner Miyasato, seconded by Mr. Ikeda. <br />IKEDA: No. <br />HENKEL: Seconded by Mr. Clarkson [sic].
