Petition No. 2017-05: Request for an informal advisory opinion from a County <br /> officer or employee, to determine whether a proposed provision by HFFA <br /> concerning uniforms and helmets would be in violation of Section 2-83(b) of the <br /> Hawai`i County Code. <br /> 5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> a. Petition No. 2016-20: Continued review of petition alleging that a County officer <br /> or employee is in violation of Sections 2-83 (Fair Treatment) and 2-84 <br /> (Conflict of Interest) of the Hawai`i County Code of Ethics because he used <br /> his position to influence further private interest regarding a contested case <br /> hearing. (Participating by telephone) <br /> b. Petition No. 2017-01 & 03: Review draft informal advisory opinion regarding a <br /> petition from Naomi O'Dell, to determine compliance with Section 2-83(c)(1) of <br /> the Hawai`i County Code because her husband is an independent contractor who <br /> would like to submit a Request for Quote(RFQ) for the Office of Housing & <br /> Community Development and the Department of Water Supply. <br />
