The Chair is here until 2019. <br /> Yes so actually... <br /> Mr. Goodenow: Ku is until when? <br /> Mr. Yoshimoto: 2019 and so Rick and Pili are 2020 as well as you because you all <br /> came aboard the same. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: So it's not...it's five years from your appointment or if <br /> you've...filling the remainder of someone else's term... <br /> Mr. Adams: I was filling the remainder of somebody's which was part of the <br /> deal. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: And you're the only one that was like that. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: All these others were open vacancies and as I mentioned... <br /> Mr. Adams: They were already open. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: I see. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: They were vacant for almost a year despite as you know as I said <br /> intense efforts certainly on my part to try and fill those <br /> vacancies...so it's just something we want to be aware of <br /> Mr. Goodenow: That's interesting though...sorry...because I mean the whole setup <br /> was you have one in five years...one in four years...one in three so <br /> it would rotate... <br /> Mr. Adams: .Right. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: So what I'd be filling...even though my position was vacant...if it <br /> had already been vacant for a year...shouldn't I only fill and so <br /> they're always staggered right.... <br /> Mr. Adams: So I think...we're kind of laughing but the fact is...is that I think <br /> that's important I mean...you take a look at....U.S. Senators <br /> right...they fill those positions right and so those...they can track <br /> that particular whether they were there senate one or senate two <br /> you know going all the way back in terms of who has that seat. <br /> It's similar...not trying to put us on a U.S. Senate level but it's <br /> similar in the sense of..we should probably be able to track whose <br /> seat...which seat we're in... <br /> Mr. Goodenow: I could be finishing in a year...we don't know... <br /> 18 <br />
