Tokuda, Chair <br /> Committee on Ways and Means <br /> Hawaii State Capitol <br /> Honolulu, HI 96813 <br /> Dear Chair Keith-Agaran, Chair Tokuda, and Committee Members: <br /> RE: HB 1179 HD 2 SD 1 <br /> Relating to Housing <br /> I am pleased to testimony in support of HB 1179, HD2, SD1, which is meant to <br /> help private developers create more affordable rental housing in Hawaii. <br /> The cost of housing has reached a point where too many of Hawaii's people are <br /> priced out of the market.
