Discussion: <br /> <br />The Hawaii county Game Management Commission is exploring the necessity, feasibility, <br />requirements, and opportunities for a County Built and Operated Shooting Facility. In our <br />initial probe into this effort; <br />a. Richard Hoeflinger, Past President and Director of On-Target in the need for a <br />Shooting Facility <br />b. Representative of Hawaii County Police Department and their need for an adequate <br />shooting facility <br />c. Sgt. Major Tom Campbell of Pohakuloa Training facility on Public Opportunities at <br />Pohakuloa <br />d. Jim Keefe of On-Target will be presenting the nuts and bolts of range development <br />e. Joey Mello – James Cogswell of DOFAW as to Hawaii State participation in range <br />development <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. New Business: <br /> <br />IX. Committee Reports: <br /> <br />X. Adjournment: (8:30PM) <br /> <br /> <br />Executive Session: The Game Management Advisory Commission anticipates it may convene in <br />one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to <br />HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board’s attorney on <br />questions and issues pertaining to the Commission’s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and <br />liabilities. A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. <br />Anyone wishing to discuss an item that does not appear on the agenda should call the <br />commission secretary at 323-4444 or email donna.urban-higuchi@hawaiicounty.gov to have the <br />subject placed on the next available agenda. <br /> <br /> Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Hawai‘i Revised Statutes (hereinafter “HRS”) §92-3.5, the <br />Hawai‘i County Game Management Advisory Commission will be conducting this Committee <br />meeting via videoconference. Game Management Advisory Commission members will be <br />present at the following location(s), where the public is invited to participate: <br /> <br /> Hawai’i County Building, Council Chambers, 25 Aupuni Street, First Floor, Suite 1401, Hilo, <br />HI, and <br />County of Hawai`i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br /> <br />
