<br /> <br />NOTICE OF CONTESTED CASE HEARING <br />LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSION <br />COUNTY OF HAWAIʻI <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a contested case hearing to be conducted by Hearing <br />Officer Robert Crudele, Esq. for the Leeward Planning Commission of the County of <br />Hawaiʻi in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaiʻi Revised <br />Statutes, Section 6-4.3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaiʻi, and the Planning <br />Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure for the following application. <br />DATES/TIMES: Monday, April 17, 2017 (8:00 a.m.) <br /> Tuesday, April 18, 2017 (8:00 a.m.) <br /> <br />PLACE: West Hawaiʽi Civic Center, Community Center, Building G, <br /> 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʽi <br /> <br />DATE/TIME: Friday, April 21, 2017 (8:00 a.m.) (if necessary) <br /> <br />PLACE: West Hawaiʽi Civic Center, Council Chambers, Building A, <br /> 74-5044 Ane Keohokālole Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʽi <br /> <br />APPLICANT: OCEAN VILLAS AT KAHALUʽU BAY, LLC <br />(SMA 16-063) <br /> <br />Special Management Area (SMA) Use Permit application to allow for the <br />development of a 306-unit multiple family residential project and its related <br />improvements including, but not limited to, internal utilities and driveways, <br />landscaping, recreational amenities such as swimming pools, and off-site <br />infrastructural improvements such as sewer system improvements within Aliʽi <br />Drive and an emergency access/driveway improvements within the proposed <br />Kahului-Keauhou Parkway right-of-way. The affected properties, consisting of <br />approximately 42.551 acres, is located along the mauka (east) side of Aliʻi Drive <br />and Kahaluʽu Bay, approximately 1,375 feet north of the Aliʻi Drive-Makolea <br />Street intersection in Kahaluʽu, North Kona, Hawaiʻi, <br />TMK: 7-8-010:004 and 7-8-014:013. <br />Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, other reasonable modification, <br />or language interpretation to access this meeting, please contact the Planning <br /> <br />
