No. 7, item listed at No. 7 on your <br /> Agenda. Kohala Village Hub Pub & Shop LLC dba Hub Pub, requests permission to <br /> extend the time of issuance of its original Class 18, Small Craft Producer Pub liquor <br /> license, for an additional six months. <br /> 7. Kohala Village Hub Pub & Shop LLC dba Hub Pub, pursuant to <br /> Rule 4-2-M of the Rules and Regulation of the Liquor Commission of the <br /> Department of Liquor Control of the County of Hawai'i, requests <br /> permission to extend the time issuance of its original Class 18, Small Craft <br /> Producer Pub liquor license, Category B2, for an additional six months, to <br /> August 4, 2017. <br /> Leigh Delphina Dorrance, Owner and Lehua Ah Sam, Executive Director, <br /> both present. <br /> Takaba: Can you identify yourself and your relationship to the business? <br /> Ah Sam: Aloha, I'm Lehua Ah Sam. I'm the Executive Director for the Kohala Village <br /> Hub Project. <br /> Dorrance: And I'm Delphina Dorrance, co-owner of this LLC and President on the <br /> Board for the non-profit that's on the project as well. <br /> Takaba: Do you want to explain since you're here? <br /> Ah Sam: Yeah, might as well. Basically because the pretty much historic nature of the <br /> buildings that we're occupying now, we're encountering some issues with the Building <br /> Department. We got signed off on Electrical, Liquor, Health as well as even Fire with <br /> Clint Baybayan, here. But because the building exceeds 5,000 square feet, the Building <br /> Department is investigating the need to install a sprinkler system and it's not something <br /> that we've been able to clarify with them in the last eight months of working with them. <br /> We went and met with Fire, Bobby Perreira and we met with Clint. Clint's been up there <br /> and he even was ready to sign off on it and then we got caught with Chris Domino and <br /> Kelly Wilson in building. They're both kind of playing this not sure whose role is going to <br /> be able to sign off on this.
