Do you have any changes to your report? <br /> Fischer: Nah. <br /> Takaba: None. Can you describe briefly your business? <br /> Fischer: We've been in business for about 12 years, as Island Lava Java without <br /> liquor. We're moving to a new location, two-story at Coconut Grove, basically the same <br /> concept, but adding a bar. <br /> Takaba: Director, do we have any protest? <br /> Takase: Mr. Chairman, the Applicant mailed 8 out of 8 notices within 100 feet; 246 out <br /> of 252 within 500 feet and two notices to condominium or cooperative apartment <br /> manager. Thereby meeting the requirements of the statutes. There were 247 total <br /> properties entitled to protest. There were no protests to this application. <br /> Takaba: Thank you. Do we have any discussion members? <br /> There was no discussion from the commissioners. <br /> Takaba: Can I have a motion to close public hearing? <br /> Mukai: So moved. <br /> Taniguchi: Second. <br /> Mr. Mukai moved that the public hearing on Application No. 16-10 be <br /> closed; seconded by Mr. Taniguchi. <br /> Takaba: Moved and seconded.
