The Department of <br />Parks & Recreation and my office are handling arrangements for this event. A tent and <br />chairs willindicate the site for the ceremony. A Black Pine will be planted andshovels will be <br />on hand. This tree planting ceremony will perpetuate and foster our Hiroshima Sister State <br />relationship. <br />We are asking that Council Chair Poindexter participate in the tree planting ceremony <br />along with Thomas Goya, President of the East Hawai'i Kenjin Kai. <br />All Council members are invited to attend and are asked to beat the site by 8:30 a.m. <br />to receive the guests as they arrive at 9:00 a.m. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> HARRY KIM <br /> Mayor <br />Countyof Hawai‘i is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. <br />
