COMMUNICATIONS NOT REQUIRING ACTION <br />4. Update from the Connectivity and Emergency Response Subcommittee (CERS) (Patti <br />Pinto): The purpose of the CERS is to follow the vision and the mission of the PCDP in <br />implementing connectivity actions related to the overall theme of health and safety. Members <br />of the subcommittee will infonn the AC on their recent activities, which is reflected in the <br />following communication: <br />— Communication No. 2017-9: CERS discussion on continued connectivity work for <br />Upper Puna and the gathering of infonnation on connectivity issues in Puna Waena. <br />ACTION COMMITTEE CAPACITY BUILDING <br />5. GIS ArcReader Training: The AC will be introduced to the GIS ArcReader program and the <br />data available from the Planning Department that can be used with the program. The AC will <br />also be shown how to use some of the tools that ArcReader has to view and analyze data layers. <br />All Action Committee communications can be viewed and downloaded from the following website, <br />http://www.hawaiicountycdp.info/puna-cdp/implementation/puna-cdp-action-committee under <br />the respective year that it was received.
