INVESTIGATIVE REPORT <br />PROPERTY OWNER: State of Hawaii <br />SITE ADDRESS: 87 Banyan Dr. <br />SITE TAX MAP KEY: 2-1-005:009,012,033,034,035,045 <br />TYPE OF VIOLATION(S): <br />DPW COMPLAINT NUMBER: NIA <br />VIOLATION CASE NUMBER: N/A <br />REFERAL AGENCY REFERENCE: State of Hawaii (DLNR), County of Hawaii <br />ASSIGNMENT <br />County of Hawaii building inspectors were assigned by the above agencies, to conduct an <br />investigation and to confirm an investigative report submitted by SSFM International on <br />June 12, 2014 to determine the remaining useful life of the building facilities at the Uncle <br />Billy's Hilo Bay Hotel. <br />SITE BACKGROUND / HISTORY <br />The original report was intended to be used as part of decision making on the future <br />utilization of the aforementioned property. <br />At the conclusion of their site visit conducted on March 4, 2017 then a follow up on March <br />8, 2014. <br />It was determined the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) was determined to be 5-10 years <br />assuming the current usage of the facilities is continued.
