California or to anyone who can access the web. I can't have a retail open door
operation but I can have a web operation at the same time as being a wholesaler.
Onizuka: One more question. You know looking at the picture, this cart barn for your
storage?
Dreimann: Yes.
Onizuka: It's already set up for wine, so who does all that wine belong to?
Dreimann: It belongs to the restaurant. It's all at the club house. It's the general cart
storage area which we'll empty out and put in proper wine coolers.
Takase: So for the restaurant at the club house, that's their current liquor storage area.
So they're going to clear out and turn it over to Mr. Dreimann.
Onizuka: Okay, thank you.
Nahale-a: Mr. Chair, I have a question. If I heard you guys correctly, it's not just a
service to the members who are going to partake, but also that you have some
members who are manufacturers?
Dreimann: We have some members who will do their own wineries. They will be
selling to the wholesaler, being myself.
Nahale-a: So you have both services for your members?
Ray: Yes, there are quite a few of them.
Dreimann: Including myself.
Nahale-a: Thank you.
Taniguchi: I move to approve Application No. 16-37. If approved, public hearing to be
held July 6, 2017, in Hilo.
Onizuka: Second.
Mr. Taniguchi moved that Application No. 16-37, The Elevation Wine
Fund LP, dba The Elevation Wine Fund LP, for an original Wholesale
Beer and Wine liquor license, located at 72-349 Ka`upulehu Drive,
Building D, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, TMK: 7-2-025:013., be approved for
a public hearing to be held on July 6, 2017, in Hilo, Hawaii; seconded
by Mr. Onizuka.
Takaba: Moved and seconded to approve. Any discussion?
There was no discussion from the Commissioners.
Takaba: Hearing none. All those in favor of the motion say "Aye."
The Commissioners vote "Aye."
JUNE 1, 2017 - LIQUOR COMMISSION MINUTES
17
