Integrated Ag Water System Scoping Presentation: Guest speakers Senator Lorraine <br />Inouye, John Richards of Waimea Waters Service, and Carty Chang from DLNR will present <br />a scoping presentation on the potential for an Integrated Agricultural Water System. <br />2. Discussion of County Capital Improvement Program: Overview of existing CIP list and <br />opportunity for Action Committee to make recommendations on prioritization or <br />additional recommendations for North Kohala projects. <br />3. Discussion of CDP Subcommittees & Sunshine Law <br />This item will also include an overview of how the Sunshine Law affects subcommittee <br />operations and recommendations for possible restructuring of subcommittees moving <br />forward. <br />4. Report on the General Plan Comprehensive Review: As part of the General Plan <br />Comprehensive Review, staff members of the Long Range Planning Division will provide an <br />overview of the design strategy and outline of the General Plan. In addition, CDP specific <br />examples will be presented to illustrate implementation options. The Action Committee <br />will have an opportunity for questions, discussion, and recommendations to the Planning <br />Director. <br />AGENDA FOR NEXT MEETING: The next meeting for the Action Committee will be a Special <br />Meeting with a General Plan presentation on October 9th, 2017. According to the Operating Guidelines of the <br />Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written <br />testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is her/his behalf or as a <br />representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an <br />original and nine copies prior to testifying.
