Communication No. 2017-12 <br />Requirements of Sunshine Law for Action Committees and any permanent <br />Subcommittee: <br />■ Discussions, deliberations and decisions must be conducted at a meeting; <br />■ Every meeting must be open unless executive meeting is allowed; <br />■ Committees must provide notice —this notice must include the agenda, be <br />posted 6 days in advance, be posted at the County clerk's office, and must <br />state the date, time, and location of the meeting; <br />■ Committees must allow the public to attend & accept public testimony: <br />County meetings should be located in ADA accessible facilities and provide <br />auxiliary aids or interpreter services upon request; <br />■ Committees must keep minutes: Minutes must be written, include <br />date/time/place of meeting, substance of all matters proposed, discussed, <br />or decided, and must be made public within 30 days of meeting. <br />North Kohala CDP: Sunshine Law Review for Action Committee2 <br />
