These wedge-shaped <br />divisions of land contained all of the resources needed for human survival, and provided the <br />principal physical and social structure for Native Hawaiian society. <br />Cultural Landscapes — Areas with high concentrations of cultural sites. The landscape as a whole <br />is important, since the sites are often positioned in relation to each other.
