The formal recognition ceremony starts at 10 AM and will <br />also honor all Veterans. Veteran organizations, AARP, County of Hawai‘i - Elderly Activities <br />Division, Office of Aging, State Office of Veteran Services, Labor Alliance, DAR, HCEOC and <br />other organizations are all working together to plan and coordinate this great event for our heroes. <br /> <br />Veterans need to call the County Elderly Activities Division at (808) 961-8777 to register. A <br />free luncheon for veterans and their “one” guest will be provided following the formal program. <br />So, let’s take some time off and be there for our vets and, if you are a veteran, please register <br />and join your comrades for this very special recognition day.
