Action Committee Objectives for calendar years 2017-2018: Committee members to consider, and adopt if desired, principal CDP implementation objectives which the Committee will seek to achieve in the 12 — 18 months ahead. This could include infrastructure projects, urban planning projects, recreational, cultural and other types as identified in the Kona CDP as needing implementation. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. Subcommittee Reports: Review of any sub -committee reports, including any recommended motions and proposed discussion items contained in such reports for placement on the next meeting agenda for Committee action. 2. Status of existing action committee sub -committees: Dissolve or reaffirm continuing, defined investigatory missions for all existing sub -committees. According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and thorough Committee review. If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five working days (prior to meeting date) of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County Code}. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}.
