Action Committee Objectives for calendar years 2017-2018: Committee <br />members to consider, and adopt if desired, principal CDP implementation objectives <br />which the Committee will seek to achieve in the 12 — 18 months ahead. This could <br />include infrastructure projects, urban planning projects, recreational, cultural and other <br />types as identified in the Kona CDP as needing implementation. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. Subcommittee Reports: Review of any sub -committee reports, including any <br />recommended motions and proposed discussion items contained in such reports for <br />placement on the next meeting agenda for Committee action. <br />2. Status of existing action committee sub -committees: Dissolve or reaffirm continuing, <br />defined investigatory missions for all existing sub -committees. According to the Operating Guidelines of the Kona <br />Community Development Plan Action Committee, a person desiring to submit oral or written <br />testimony shall indicate her/his name and whether the testimony is on her/his behalf or as a <br />representative of an organization or individual. Written testimony shall be submitted with an <br />original and nine copies prior to testifying. The Committee would appreciate timely submittal to <br />the Planning Department at least one week prior to the hearing date to allow for mailing and <br />thorough Committee review. <br />If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five working days <br />(prior to meeting date) of becoming a lobbyist {Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawaii County <br />Code}. A lobbyist means "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spend <br />more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting <br />to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to <br />communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawaii County Code}. <br />
