The Open House was held on March 29, <br />2006. It provided an opportunity for the <br />public to see their ideas being applied to <br />the Kona region. <br />Participants comment on the development <br />scenarios. <br />The Public Involvement Process <br />The Open House allowed participants to review the results of the <br />Public meeting and to comment on the preferred development scenarios <br />while relating the scenario to environmental and cultural constraints. <br />The How Do We Grow? Charrette Part 1 confirmed the strong <br />degree of public support for the ten development principles and <br />produced agreement on a preferred development scenario. <br />For the development principles ratings see Chapter 3, Section A.1, <br />and for a description of the preferred development scenario see <br />Appendix E, How Do We Grow?
