At the Open House participants could <br />review summaries of interviews <br />conducted by the consultant team <br />during the charrette <br />The Public Involvement Process <br />Working Groups started their activities on May 13`h, 2006 and <br />concluded the majority of their work at the end of September 2006. They <br />met at least once every month, and often more than that. They conducted a <br />variety of tasks following a general set of instructions, including: reviewing <br />ideas and identifying major themes for their assigned topic(s); using the <br />major themes to develop preliminary objectives that will help accomplish <br />the goal for their topic; and beginning the process of identifying specific and <br />concrete actions. <br />The Working Group report has been submitted separately and is <br />currently being reviewed by the Steering Committee. It is expected that the <br />recommendations of the Working Groups will be integrated in the Goals, <br />Objectives, and Implementation Action section of each element of the Plan. <br />Kona Community Development Plan 2.9 <br />
