Petition No. 2017-08: Initial review of a petition alleging that County <br /> officer or employee is in violation of Sections 2-80 (Interpretation of <br /> article), 2-83 (Fair treatment), and 2-91 (Appointing authority's <br /> power to discipline) of the Ilawai`i County Code. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: So we're moving on to Petition No. 2017-08. The same status <br /> goes for our petitioner Mr. Hyland is the same petitioner is not <br /> here due to an emergency...we do have...my understanding is we <br /> do have...the respondent in the audience so if the respondent <br /> would like to say something...that is our practice and you're more <br /> than welcomed to come...if not then I would like to entertain a <br /> motion. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: I move that we continue it to run concurrently or whatever with the <br /> previous petition...be placed on the same agenda with the previous <br /> complaint. <br /> Mr. Adams: Second. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: Okay so for this one...we're just calling for a continuation... <br /> Mr. Goodenow: Yeah. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: Of this initial review until the petitioner.... <br /> Mr. Goodenow: Sorry can I take that back...do you might withdrawing your <br /> second. <br /> Mr. Adams: Sure I withdraw the second. <br /> Mr. Goodenow: I want to move to dismiss and then after we can do that the motion <br /> on the floor can get continued...just so it's like the other one. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: Do we have a second for our motion to dismiss? <br /> Mr. Robinson: I'd second that. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: Now we have some discussion in regards... <br /> Mr. Goodenow: And at this point I'm gonna move to continue. <br /> Mr. Adams: Second. <br /> Ms. Kahakalau: Okay so we have...it's the same situation again...do we have any <br /> further discussion? <br /> 14 <br />
