Succeeded in obtaining a Rivers, Trails, Conservation Assistance grant through partner Kohala Lihikai <br />for trail maintenance and educational program at high school. <br />7. Worked with community groups to nominate six coastal parcels to the Mayor's PONC list for Open <br />Space purchase. <br />8. Worked with Kohala Lihikai to prepare applications for the County Maintenance Fund grants for <br />stewarding the land at Pao'o and Kaiholena. <br />9. Worked with other subcommittees to solve the problems of congestion, safety and health at Pololu <br />Lookout. <br />10. Worked with Kohala Lihikai on erosion control and native planting project at Upolu Airport. <br />11. Shared coastal erosion control and native plant propagation information with Pacific Pono, the <br />stewards of Kamehameha Schools land at Akoakoa Point. <br />Growth Management: <br />1. Made recommendations for General Plan revisions and helped keep community informed about the <br />General Plan revision process. <br />2.
