Senior Training & Employment Program <br /> <br />Mark Kunzer, Program Director (808) 961-8750 <br /> <br />HERE'S THE NEWS <br /> <br />On October 26, 2017 the Big Island Workplace Connection Job and <br />Resource Fair was held at Edith Kanaka‘ole Tennis Stadium in Hilo <br />and attracted over 30 applicants to STEP. One of our program members <br />was hired within a week of the job fair and most of our members filled out multiple <br />applications for many of the businesses on site. <br /> <br />STEP Participant, Veronica Skelly filled out job applications from various business. <br />There was 85 participating Vendors.
