Ms. Nahale-a moved to ratify the Application for Game Permit, for a <br />Texas Hold'em Dinner held on January 15 and 29, 2018, submitted by <br />Kona, Hawaii, Lodge No. 2616, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks <br />of the United States of America, dba Kona Elks Lodge, approved by <br />Director Gerald Takase on January 10, 2018, to its Club liquor <br />license, Category B2, located at 74-5596 Pawai Place, Bays M and N, <br />Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i; seconded by Mr. Greenwell. <br />Taniguchi: Moved and seconded. Discussion? <br />Lopez: Question. I see this particular one come up regularly. I'm a member of the <br />Elks and I have a calendar. Do they have to apply for this every month? <br />Takase: They can apply for several months in a row. We take it as they send it to us. <br />Lopez: Absolutely. <br />Takase: You can tell them they can submit multiple months on it. <br />Masuda: Are you a member of this particular Elks Lodge? <br />Lopez: Yes. <br />Masuda: I will ask to recuse yourself at this point. <br />Lopez: Will do. <br />Mr. Lopez recused himself from voting on New Business, Item No. 4. <br />Taniguchi: Any other questions? <br />There were no further questions from the Commissioners. <br />Taniguchi: Since none, all those in favor signify by saying, "Aye." <br />The Commissioners voted "Aye." <br />Taniguchi: Those opposed, "Nay." <br />There was no opposition by the Commissioners. <br />Taniguchi: Motion carried.
